The Center for Lifelong Learning program listings for the spring semester are included in the USCA External Programs Spring 2026 Catalog, which has been sent to the printer. As this is written, due to unexpected delays and further communication difficulties over the holidays, it is unclear when the printer will be mailing the catalog to the mailing list and delivering them to the External Programs office.
Meanwhile, the CLL portion of the catalog is already available as a download from the CLL website at this link.
Those not receiving mailed copies can pick up the printed catalog once it has issued at the External Programs offices in the USCA Business & Education Building, Rooms 103, 104, and 105.
The current catalog release status will be posted on this website.

See an important announcement about a new feature of Open House.
Dr. Earl F. Kauffman arrived in Aiken at the age of 82 and initiated a planning committee to develop and implement a program for the community's mature residents. In 1990, this committee created a mission statement for what was to become the Academy for Lifelong Learning (later the Center for Lifelong Learning) at the University of South Carolina Aiken.
The annual Earl F. Kauffman Recognition Day and Award is a luncheon hosted annually to celebrate the significant contribution made by Dr. Kauffman. It is made possible by an endowment fund established in 1990 by Dr. James Kauffman upon the death of his father Earl.
This year's luncheon will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, in the Etherredge Center Lobby, Lower Level, on campus.
Invitations (with a required RSVP) will be emailed to Center members in March. There is no charge for a member to attend.
