Class Canceled

The course Brain & Body Fitness by Ageless Grace II has been canceled due to low enrollment.

Classes Re-scheduled

Dates and times for makeup sessions are listed below for the following classes that were postponed due to the inclement weather of January 21 - 23:

  • Unlocking Microsoft Word: Thursday, February 6, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • NATO: Wednesday, February 5, 1:30 - 2:30 PM
  • iPhone 101: Wednesday, January 29, 1:30 - 3:30 PM
  • Facebook Security: Tuesday, February 4, 9:30 - 11:30 AM
  • America's Birth: Wednesday, February 5, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Nuclear Waste: Thursday, February 20, 4:00 - 5:00 PM
  • History in Headstones: Tuesday, February 11, 1:00 - 2:00 PM

    All other sessions of each of the above classes will be held at the originally scheduled times. Re-scheduled sessions will meet in the same classroom as originally scheduled.

    The following classes have been moved to different rooms to accommodate a larger number of registrants:

    • What to Know About End-of-Life Preparation moved to Room 106 of the Penland Building.
    • Venona Papers: Cold War Espionage moved to Room 116 of the Business and Education Building.
    • Helene and its Impact on the CSRA moved to Room 116 of the Business and Education Building.
    • Beethoven's Ninth moved to Room 116 of the Business and Education Building.
    • Near Misses & Untold Truths moved to Room 106 of the Penland Building.
    • Life as an Indian Trader moved to Room 106 of the Penland Building.

    Open House & Registration

    Before the start of classes each semester, we hold an Open House to provide an opportunity to learn about the Center for Lifelong Learning and ask questions about our courses. You do not have to be a member to attend the Open House. There is no registration required for Open House, just show up at the appointed time and place.

    You may also register for a class or classes at the Open House. In fact, registration opens at the start of Open House, including online registration. You may also register by mail or in person at the Office of External Programs beginning the day after Open House.

    For the Spring 2025 semester, Open House will be held:

    January 8, 2025
    9:00 AM until 12:00 PM
    Rooms 122 and 116 of the Business and Education (B&E) Building
