Schedule Change

The last class of the course Man's Fastest Friend: A History of Greyhounds and Humans will now be held starting at 9:30 AM, Friday, March 22, in B&E 140. The University was closed on March 15 due to watermain break, necessitating a re-schedule.

Course Canceled

The course How Do I Use One Drive?, scheduled to begin March 20, has been canceled due to equipment issues.

Class Session Added

A fifth session has been added to the class The Manhattan Project and Origin of the DOE Complex. The extra class session will meet on April 2 at the usual time (12:30 PM) and location (B&E 144).

Registration Information

How to Register - Spring Semester Courses

You may register (enroll) for courses in person, online, by mail, or by phone. Checks are accepted only for in-person registration. Pre-registration is required for all courses.

Registration for this semester opens 9:00 AM, January 3, 2024. Please do not submit registration forms by mail or in-person before this time as they will not be processed until the day after registration opens.

Classes for this semester begin January 16, 2024.

A membership fee of $35.00 per semester is required to take courses. Each course requires an additional fee ranging from $5.00 to $28.00 depending on the type of course (general interest or technology) and the number of class meetings.

In Person

  • At Open House (see time and location below). Knowledgeable staff will be there to answer any questions about the courses and take your registration. The benefit of registering at Open House is that you may immediately receive your CLL membership card and campus parking pass.
  • At the USC Aiken Office of Continuing Education in Room 126 of the Business and Education (B&E) Building beginning the day after registration opens. It is best to call 803-641-3741 before you come to confirm that someone will be available to help you.
  • Note that in-person registrations may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card.

Online

By Mail

  • You may fill out a registration form and mail it and your credit card information (checks are not accepted for mail-in registration) to the address shown on the form. Forms received will not be processed until the day after registration opens, regardless of the date mailed.
  • The form may be obtained from our printed catalog or you may download the form and print as many copies as you need at home.

By Phone

  • After 9:00 AM on January 4, you may call us at 803-641-3741 to register. Payment by credit card is required for telephone registration.

January 3, 2024, 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM in Room 122 of the B&E Building.

Registration Notes

  • For questions about registration, call the USC Aiken Office of Continuing Education, 803-641-3741.
  • Pre-registration is required for all classes. Registration closes for Technology courses at the end of the day on the Monday of the week before the class's first meeting and for other courses on the day before the first meeting.
  • Registration is first-come, first served and continues throughout the semester. Register early as some classes have limited class size or require time to prepare the appropriate number of class materials.
  • Please pay for your course with cash (for in person registration only; do not send cash through the mail), a check (for in-person registration only; checks are not accepted for mail-in registration), or a credit card. Full payment and a completed registration form must be received by USC Aiken before your registration is complete. You will be sent a confirmation email after your registration is processed.
  • All courses and schedules are subject to change. Changes will be announced on the All The News page.
  • Because of limited space, you must attend only the sections of the class for which you register.
