Class Canceled

The course Brain & Body Fitness by Ageless Grace II has been canceled due to low enrollment.

Dates and times for makeup sessions are listed below for the following classes that were postponed due to the inclement weather of January 21 - 23:

  • Unlocking Microsoft Word: Thursday, February 6, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • NATO: Wednesday, February 5, 1:30 - 2:30 PM
  • iPhone 101: Wednesday, January 29, 1:30 - 3:30 PM
  • Facebook Security: Tuesday, February 4, 9:30 - 11:30 AM
  • America's Birth: Wednesday, February 5, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Nuclear Waste: Thursday, February 20, 4:00 - 5:00 PM
  • History in Headstones: Tuesday, February 11, 1:00 - 2:00 PM
  • Excel 101: extra hour added to January 29 and February 5 sessions, 1:00 - 4:00 PM

    All other sessions of each of the above classes will be held at the originally scheduled times. Re-scheduled sessions will meet in the same classroom as originally scheduled.

    • Life as an Indian Trader moved to Room 106 of the Penland Building.

    Facilitator

    For the Fall 2024 Semester, we have created a new volunteer position called Facilitator. If you have thought about volunteering with the Center for Lifelong Learning, but did not see a fit for your interests and skills, perhaps this is for you. And it comes with a big benefit: as all the duties of the facilitator are at the beginning/end/after class, there is time to actually take the class—and IT'S TUITION FREE. That's right. Rather than having to pay for the class, you attend free in return for your work as a facilitator.
